Shimshal Pamir Trek
Shimshal is the most virgin part remains amongst the Whole Hunza region. It is an area covering almost 3000 sq miles.

The beautiful Shimshal village is located on three and half hours driving distance from the KKH (accessible for the first time in October 2003 by jeep).This valley holds attractions for various kinds of tourists.

It has many of the still unclimbed above 7000 m peaks of the Gilgit District. Some of the longest glaciers and a wide range of wild life like the famous snow leopards and mountain bears, a large number of blue sheep population and mountain ibex and many other wild life species of the area. It has attraction for the society lovers as the only place where the culture and values of Hunza is still alive. These all makes Shimshal as one of the best place to visit in Hunza.

Itinerary:

01	Arrive at Islamabad airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight Islamabad.
02	Drive to Chilas ( 8-9 hrs driving ).Overnight Chilas.
03	Drive to Passu en route stopping for lunch at Rakaposhi View Point. ( 7-8 hrs driving ).
04	Drive by jeep to Shimshal Valley.(3 hrs driving). Overnight staying at local Guest House.
05	Trekking to Zardgarben .the yellow cliff are the source of it’s name which means the base of yellow rock.the entire enormous valley is an old lake bed formed by a huge rock slides. It will take 4-5 hrs to zardgarben.
06	Trek to Arbubparyan.
07	Trek to Shewjarjarab.
08	Trek to Shewwirth.
09	Trek to Arbabuparyan.
10	Trek to Zarthgarben.
11	Trek to Shimshal.
12	Drive back to Passu.
13	Passu to Gilgit.
14	Gilgit to Besham.
15	Besham to Islamabad and transfer to the airport.
